Bobbing around on the ocean - take 2...

Just as well ship's life is agreeing with me - more rough weather and we spent the next few days goin up and down the coast, unable to venture to Cape Town due to storms and high seas.

The change in time difference to home didnt really make much difference at this point so we were able to keep in contact via face time.

IT was really good to talk to the kids and grandkids and to see the animals.

A little bit of homesickness has set it, and more of the "what am I doing here?????

But there is a lot to look forward to in the journey, so no point in looking back.

Strangely most of the things I see and things I do - there's only one person i want to tell. And he's dead. Thats the killer.


Eventually we rounded the Cape of Good Hope. It was very rough sailing, but we made it.


Can't say that South africa was ever a place I wanted to go, but to be honet, I was very pleasant;ly surprised...
