Barcelona. And beyond.

So I left the ship in Barcelona, and took a chips tour of the city culminating at the airport. Handy that!! There was a bit of a queue of ships in the dock...

The tour was nice. Some interesting architecture, some Gaudi inspired, as seen from the bus.

Then the tour of the Basilia de la Sagrada Familia.
It was very big and impressive, but a daft concept if you ask me!!
And they're still building it.

The turret things are very ornate, with birds and flowers and sometimes more hideous things to represent the underworld.

Can'y say I was overly impressed with the little bit of Barcelona that I saw. We did go past the olympic stadium up the hill, which they are still very proud of.
Nice, but only a 7/10.

And so to the airport and off to London.
Cue the "doof doof" music...
